Black Hill Sound of Silence Tessla Rally
The Custer Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 7th Annual Sound of Silence Tesla Rally, where $5 million in cars make a road trip to Custer, South Dakota. The annual Custer event is the only one of its kind in the United States. Tesla owners are invited to come explore the beautiful drives the southern Black Hills has to offer. Quilters Guild Show
Over 400 competition quilts are expected to be on display as well as special exhibit quilts which highlight some of the activities of the Black Hills Quilters Guild, and BHQGs annual challenge quilts. This spectacular ceremonial blast lights up the mountain with incredible fireballs and specially designed pyrotechnical features. One of two annual night blasts, the June blast is both a celebration of the birthday of the late Mrs. Korczak (Ruth) Ziolkowski and it also commemorates the anniversary of the Battle of the Little Big Horn in 1876. **After 7:00 p.m. on June 26th the Memorial gratefully accepts three cans of food per person in lieu of the regular admission fee**(Weather permitting)
